The meeting called to order at 1:05 PM by Chairman Charles Stutesman.

Self-Introductions:

August Meeting Minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison.

Committee Reports(s):

Treasurer's Report was given by Treasurer Raymond Lenz.
Disbursements and receipts:
A check card purchase in the amount of $224.75 was made from Orapax to pay for the August lunch.
A check in the amount of $800.00 was written to Charles Stutsman for expenses incurred in his trip to the SBE meeting.
And there have been no receipts.
Balance in Chapter Accounts:
Checking: $4,185.26
Petty Cash: $269.05
Total Chapter Assets: $4,454.31

Elections: The nominating committee has nominated for President – Ray Lenz, Vice President – Mike Matovich,
Treasurer – Kim Beeman, Secretary Billy Harrison. Board of Directors Keith O’Malley, John Parker, John Heimerl,
Charles Stutsman is a member as Past President
Electronic Ballots will be sent out later this month.

SBE National: John Battison, SBE founder, has passed away.

EAS: IPAWS CAP EAS Test

Certification: Last day to register for 2012 test schedule is September 14. Richard Dyer had a discussion on recertification.

Frequency Coordination: Gary Becknell reported Hampton University is installing 2Ghz equipment.

Web: Ted Hand reported the web is going good but is open to any changes the Chapter wants to make.

Membership: Nothing to report

New Business: WFOS has a youth forum and is looking for guest speakers.

Program: Jimmy OConner of South-Tek Systems ( southteksystems.com ) discussed the company’s N2-GEN – Nitrogen generation System.
