Meeting called to order at 1:15 PM by Chairman Charles Stutsman.

Self-Introductions:

August meeting minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison

Treasurer’s report given by Treasurer, Ray Lenz.
Disbursements and receipts:
A check was written to Richard Dyer in the amount of $330.70 to cover lunch for the August meeting
which he purchased from Thai Arroy and Harris Teeter.
Two checks in the amount of $75 each were received from Bob Ellis of Rhode & Schwarz
and John Heinke of Digital Video Group in payment for sustaining membership.
Balance in Chapter Accounts:
Checking: $5,148.74
Petty Cash: $269.05
Total Chapter Assets: $5,417.79

SBE National: FCC is requiring Closed Captioning for for mobile tv to be compliant July 1, 2012.

EAS: Charles Stutsman discussed IPAWS webinar on September 30th. A request was made
that an email be sent to the group as a reminder was submitted.

Certification: Deadline for submitting application for the November exams is September 16.

Frequency Coordination: Keith O'Malley has requested to end his duties as chapter frequency cordinator.

Web: No News.

Membership: Nominating Committee is to be chaired by Chris Gunnefsen.

Program: Bob Bush of EVERTZ presented Tim Murphy Director of File Based Solutions.
He discussed content management work-flow. Editing video more efficiently.
