Meeting called to order at 1:30 PM by Chairman Charles Stutsman

Self-Introductions:

July meeting minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison

Treasurer’s report given by Chairman Charles Stutsman, prepared by Treasurer, Ray Lenz.
Disbursements and receipts:
As our guest paid directly for last month’s meal there were no disbursements.
A check in the amount of $75 was received from Eddie Durham of ECS in payment
for sustaining membership.
Balance in Chapter Accounts:
Checking: $5,329.44
Petty Cash: $269.05
Total Chapter Assets: $5,598.49
Treasurer’s Note: Our Wachovia banking account has been transferred to Wells Fargo
as of this last weekend. As Wells Fargo Bank has purchased Wachovia Bank all Wachovia
accounts in Virginia have now been transferred to Wells Fargo. No action is required at this time.

SBE National: Nothing to report.

EAS: Paul Campbell reported that 850 AM may be the new primary EAS entry point for
the area instead of WRVA. He will have further updates.

Certification: Nothing to report

Frequency Coordination: Nothing to report

Web: Nothing to report.

Membership: no new members.

Program: Mark Marchbank from the Virginia Beach Emergency Operations Department
discussed how Virginia Beach and other cities will interact with broadcasters during emergencies.
