The meeting called to order at 1:10 PM by Chairman Mike Matovich.

July Meeting Minutes were read by Secretary Billy Harrison.

Treasurer's Report was given by Treasurer Raymond Lenz.
Balances in chapter accounts:
Checking: $2,911.32
Certificate of Deposit: $1,952.83
Petty Cash: $269.05
Disbursements and Receipts: a check for the amount of $199.56 was written to Orapax to cover the cost of the July meeting.
$9.99 paid to Kroger for drinks.
Total Chapter assets: $5,133.20

Taste of NAB report was given by Chris Gennefsen.

SBE National: Various workshops – Particulars are on the SBE National website.

Elections: National election ballots have been received. They are due in Indianapolis by 5pm, August 27. Nominations for Chapter 54 officers will be made in September and elections will be held in October.

EAS: Nothing to report.

Certification: Web site Certification page has updated schedule. Nothing to report.

Frequency Coordination: Nothing to report.

Web: Future web hosting was discussed. WHRO has offered to host chapter web site.

Membership: One person is wanting to take a certification exam.

Digital Transition: Nothing to report.

Program: Richard Dyer with the City of Virginia Beach – Live truck production and panasonic cameras.
