The meeting called to order at 1:14 PM by Chairman Mike Matovich.

Self-Introductions:

June Meeting Minutes were read by Charles Stutsman.

Committee Reports(s):

Treasurer's Report was given by Treasurer Raymond Lenz.
Balances in chapter accounts:
Checking: $3,120.87
Certificate of Deposit: $1,948.81
Petty Cash: $176.65
Disbursements and Receipts: a check for the amount of $200.42 was written to Orapax to cover the cost of the June meeting.
A check was received from SBE National in the amount of $554.75

Total Chapter assets: $5,246.33

SBE National: Ted Hand attended the Executive Committee meeting in Indianapolis on June 27th.

Local News: George Randell was awarded the VAB, J.J. Freeman Engineering Award presented by John Heimerl.

Elections: Nominations for Chapter 54 will be made in September and elections will be held in October.

EAS: Nothing to report.

Certification: Nothing to report.

Frequency Coordination: Nothing to report.

Web: Minor changes to EAS and Officers pages.

Membership: The chapter now has 66 members.

Digital Transition: WVEC-TV, TBN (WHRE-TV, Va. Beach), UNC-TV (WUND-TV, Edenton) and WBOC-TV, Salisbury, MD were discussed concerning their digital transitions issues. Tom Jordan of Rhode &Swartz said he would offer assistance to TBN to get their PSIP working correctly.
