Chapter 54 Meeting Minutes

Call to order: Call to order at 12:30pm by Chairman, Chris Gunnefsun.

Secretary: Secretary Billy Harrison read the June minutes.

Treasurer: Russell Taylor reported balances in the chapter accounts:
Checking: $3044.23
Certificate of Deposit: $1,858.90
Petty Cash: $386.70
Disbursements: Checkcard purchase in the amount of $202.65 made to Orapax for June lunch.
Received a PayPal payment from Digital Video Group in the amount of $202.65 for June lunch.
PayPal transaction fee of $6.18 charged to Chapter PayPal account. Received a rebate check
from SBE National in the amount of 503.05.
Total Chapter assets: $5289.83

SBE National: Ted Hand will be attending the SBE national meeting in Madison, WI. (Oct 14-16) on behalf of Chapter 54.

EAS: No report

Certification: September 19 is deadline to register for November exam

Membership: Elections committee will be formed in August.

Frequency Coordination: WHRO is finishing up on 2GHz point to point.
All receipts had to be submitted to Sprint Nextel by 7/31/08 by Hampton Roads stations
All old equipment must be returned within 90 days of the transition date.
Sprint Nextel transition has been extended to March 2009

Web Site: The chapter's website was voted "Best SBE Web Site 2007".
