Committee Reports(s):

Treasurer: Russell Taylor reported the following:
Checking: $2,750.07
Certificate of Deposit: $1,858.90
Petty Cash: $386.70
Disbursements: Checkcard purchase in the amount of $268.00 made to Jason’s Deli for February lunch. Received a check from Chris Gunnufsen in the amount of $268.00 for February lunch.
Total Chapter Assets: $4,995.67

SBE National: NAB will be held in Las Vegas on April 12-17.

EAS: FCC is checking for EAS compliance on all digital and HD radio streams.

Certification: Next certification exam will be held at NAB in Las Vegas on April 15. Deadline for April exam has past.

Frequency Coordination: Nextel plan has Hampton roads transitioning to new BAS 2 GHz plan on March 29, 2008.

Membership: Membership renewals were mailed out. Yearly membership dues of $63.00 are due by April 1.

Digital Transition: DTV television coupon information presented.

Other Business:

Program: Stephane Billat from Evertz gave a presentation on DTV/ASI/Streaming. Video compression, distribution, archiving, monitoring and IP interfaces were covered.
