Certificate of Deposit: $1,858.90
Petty Cash: $386.70
Disbursements: Checkcard purchase in the amount of $202.70 made to Orapax for January lunch. Received a
PayPal payment from Thomson Grass Valley in the amount of $202.70. PayPal fee of $6.18 charged to
Chapter PayPal account for credit card payment from Thomson Grass Valley.
Total Chapter assets: $4,995.67

SBE National: Government converter box coupon program

EAS: WGH-FM (LP1) schedule posted on the www.sbe54.org website.

Certification: No local report. Next exam at NAB in Las Vegas.

Membership: 56 members with 26 being certified

Frequency Coordination: Keith O’Malley has volunteered to take frequency coordination from Ted Hand.

Web Site: EAS RMT schedule posted.

Digital Transmission Committee: Chris Gunnefsun gave out web sites containing consumer information for set top converter boxes.

New Business / Other Business: Discussed digital radio and future digital radio programming. Discussed Dial Norm and other DTV standards.

Kevin Wiener of COX communications wants to meet with local broadcasters and other cable operators to discuss how television signal will be provided to COX, Verizon and Charter cable after February 2009 transition. He also asked to set up a blog for local broadcasters to discuss reception and transmission issues.

Program: There was no formal speaker just discussion of local broadcast information.
