Call to order: Call to order at 1:20 by Chairman, Chris Gunnefsun, followed by self introductions.

Committee Reports:

Secretary: Secretary, Billy Harrison read the December minutes.

Treasurer: Russell Taylor reported balances in chapter accounts:
Checking: $2756.25
Certificate of Deposit: $1,858.90
Petty Cash: $386.70
Disbursements: PayPal verification deposit to checking account in the amount of $0.12 made on 1/3/08.
PayPal verification deposit to checking account in the amount of $0.17 made on 1/3/08.
Total Chapter assets: $5001.85

SBE National: Chris Gunnufsun discussed the digital television transition.

EAS: No report

Certification: February exam at NAB

Membership: Nothing

Frequency Coordination: Nextel is slated for March transition. Hampton City Schools may use 2GHz for HS basketball thru RF Central.

Web Site: Broadcast.net site was hacked into. No damage to site. Site has been updated with 2008 copyrights and pictures.

Digital Transmission Committee: No report

New Business / Other Business: Kevin Wiener of COX communications wants to meet with local broadcasters and other cable operators to discuss how television signal will be provided to COX, Verizon and Charter cable after February 2009 transition.
