Treasurer: Russell Taylor reported the following:
Checking: $2,915.54
Certificate of Deposit: $1,790.75
Petty Cash: $282.74
Disbursements: Check 1094 in the amount of $189.27 written to WHRO for April lunch
Received a check from the Whitlock Group in the amount of $302.24 for March lunch
Received a check from the Whitlock Group in the amount of $189.27 for April lunch
Total Chapter Assets: $4,989.03

SBE National: Ted attened the national board meeting at NAB. Good turn out at membership meeting. Ted Hand is running for National Secretary.

EAS: nothing to report

Certification: June 8 is the deadline for the August test period

Web: never got the monthly EAS test information, have given up trying to get it. Will remove the EAS page from site

Frequency Coordination: Coordinated the LPGA at Williamsburg.....Trying to Coordinate Jamestown 400th, but can not get a press pass

Membership: Richard provided Chairman with member/certification spreadsheet; 25 of 58 current members or 46% were certified is some form or another, some with multiple certifications; Charles volunteered to become Membership Chair

Digital Transition: Digital Transition committee needs to schedule meeting

Other Business: Thales (GVG) transmitter call center phone # 800-345-9295 is noisy and hard to reach; lunch provided by Bob Bush of Evertz; the group said reading the secretary report in lieu of email should continue; Chris reported SBE54 blog site sbe54.whro.org will later be set to link sbe54.org

Program: Bob Bush of Evertz provided and extensive program on fiber technology;
Dolby is tentative scheduled for the June meeting.
