Committee Reports(s):

Treasurer: Russell Taylor reported the following:
Checking: $2,700.99.
Certificate of Deposit: $1,790.75.
Petty Cash: $282.74
Disbursements: Check 1091 in the amount of $214.55 written to WHRO for January lunch.
Total Chapter Assets: $4,774.48

SBE National: Ted Hand attended the SBE Board of Directors Executive Committee Meeting in Las Vegas. Membership dues notices are being mailed. New dues are $63.

EAS: Informational updates to come from Paul Campell.

Certification: Nothing to report.

Web: Ted Hand reports that the 2007 pages are up and running.

Frequency Coordination: WVEC requested a list of microwave frequencies.

Membership: Richard Dyer was present. Nothing to report.

Old Business: Wiki Blog: for engineering concerns, possibility of additional forums. Chris Gunnufsen will send out e-mail with more information. Wiki Blog will be launch sometime in 3rd week in February.

Digital Transition: Chris Gunnufsen will send out info via e-mail. Discussed a request from COX to integrate the digital transition with standardization…promote through education and possibly an open forum through Hampton Roads Tech Council.

New Business: Tektronix seminar interest. This is a free 1 day seminar. Chris Gunnufsen will get information together and forward out.

Program: Greg Compagnone and Michael Brown from RTS/Telex discussed information on digital intercom/IFB Technology.
