Committee Report(s):

Treasurer: Frank Butler reported the following... Checking: $7,469.80, Certificate of Deposit: $1,735.00, Petty Cash: $226.74

Disbursements: Received checks for $700.00 from The Whitlock Group; Cavell, Mertz & Davis, Inc.; Modulation Sciences and Sencore to cover 8VSB seminar sponsorship. Received and deposited registration checks totaling $495.00 for the DTV seminar.

Total Chapter assets: $8,731.54

EAS: Keith O'Malley was not present.

Certification: November Test deadline in Sept 23.

SBE National: Ted Hand was elected to the Board of Directors.

Membership: Richard Dyer was present, nothing to report

Frequency Coordination: Ted Hand gave information about Channel 21 STL (7025-7050) and WPMH is looking for two STL links 1) from the AM1010 transmitter site to the AM1270 transmitter site(949.000) and from the AM1270 transmitter site to the AM670 transmitter site(946.500).

Charles Stutsman announced the canidates for election: Chris Gunnufsen, Chairman; Ted Hand,Vice-Chairman; Greg Lesko, Secretary; Frank Butler, Treasurer.

Ted Hand was recognized as an Accredited Frequnecy Coordinator by SBE National.

The 8VSB seminar has 6 signed sponsors and 20 signed participants for the Sept 16 event. Reception will be held at WHRO on Thursday, September 15 from 7-9 pm. Two more sponsors are expected to have checks to the chapter.

Program: Ken Dillard, EVP of Statmon gave a talk on Remote Control via Network.
