Committee Report(s):

Treasurer: Frank Butler reported the following... Checking: $4,174.80, Certificate of Deposit: $1,735.00, Petty Cash: $226.74

Disbursements: Check number 1065 for $166.97 issued to Smokey’s BBQ to pay for July Lunch. Received check for $166.97 from Whitlock Group to cover July lunch. Received and deposited sponsorship check for $700.00 from Rohde & Schwarz, rebate check from National for $472.00, and $225.00 in registration checks for the DTV seminar.

Total Chapter assets: $6,136.54

EAS: EAS coordinator Keith O'Malley was not present.

Certification: SBE National certification has created a new test for 8VSB.

SBE National: David Otay, National Freq Coord. has resigned.

Frequency Coordination: Ted Hand was present but had nothing to report.

Program: Ted Hand open the meeting for general discussion. Talked of Membership, elections, 2GHz Relocation. Ted thanked everybody for coming and hope to make this lunch a yearly event.

Discussion on DTV 8-VSB Seminar: Thanked Bob Boone for his work on web site flyer. Frank Butler reported that five people have signed up so far.

Meeting adjourned at 1:31 PM.

Afterward, tours of WTKR-DT, WTVZ-TV/DT and WHRO-FM/TV/DT site were given.
