Treasurer: Frank Butler: $2,220.17 in checking; $1,725.02 in CD; $226.74 cash on hand: TOTAL-$4,171.93.....Received $50.00 from Rohde&Schwarz, Substaining Membership; $166.97 from Whitlock, April Lunch; Issued $40.40 to Ted Hand for travel to Washington, DC; $166.97 to Smokey's BBQ for May Lunch.

Freq. Coordinator: Ted Hand: Nextel – July 12th is Breakout meetings held to be held in Norfolk. Richmond meetingis June 14. Chief Engineers, General Managers, News Directors encouraged to attend...WTKR-TV has applied for 450.0875 and 455.0875 RPUs. WZNR/WNIS looking for STL link from Norfolk to WNIS site. 2 GHz vendor show in Washington, DC on June 28 given by WEBE.

SBE National: Received rebate check....Cert. Comnittee coming up with 8VSB level exam.

EAS: Keith O'Malley: Not present, no report.

Certification: Bill Swartz, not present, given by Ted Hand: June 5th and June 9th: 2 people taking tests.

Program: Doug Davidson, not present, given by Charles Stutsman: July – Tektronix; August – WTKR-TV/transmitter site.

Discussion on DTV 8VSB seminar: Discussed moving the date to September 16th. This seems to be the best day. Motion was made to Co-Sponsor Gary Sqrignoli's VSB seminar with WHRO-TV. Cost will be $45 per attendee. Motion was made by Richard Dyer, seconded by Frank Butler. The motion was passed unanamously. There were 7 paying members present which made a quorum by one person. The $45 fee will be split: $35 book / $10 Lunch.
