Self-introductions

December minutes approved.

Committee Report(s):

Treasurer: Checking - $2,13455; C.D. - $1,697.35; Petty Cash - $113.74. Disbursements: Check number 1055 issued to Chris Gunnufsen to pay for December Lunch. Deposited checks from the Whitlock Group and Borzoi Group to cover Decembers lunch and Sustaining membership respectfully. Chapter 54 total assets is $3,965.64

Freq. Coordinator: Ted Hand: East Carolina Radio group applied for licenses for STL’s. Digital TV 382’s due 1/27/05. Nextel transfer approval-2 weeks of February. Schedule released of cities visited.

Membership: Richard Dyer: Nothing new. Has SBE pamphlets and brochures to those interested.

EAS: Keith O’Malley: Meetings held, last week, in Richmond re new EAS system. Last weeks “Amber Alert” NOT GOOD.

Certification: Bill Swartz: Not Present.

New Business: FCC Website has new page for consumers on what HDTV is and isn’t.

Web Site: Ted Hand: Sustaining membership logo’s rotating. Links to ALL E.A.S. documents there.

Programs: Doug Davidson: Doug will take over programs.

Old Business: Use of PayPal for lunch payments on-hold. Alternate proposal: Whitlock Group will work with credit cards and process.

Program: Port Security, presented by John Heimerl and Chris Gunnufsen.
